2017: Project Management Software Testing
A Seattle, Washington based start up company developing a customer success project management software has established itself as a creative agency.
Challenge: The company seeks to have software tested or fully vetted prior to its commercial launch across the US to organizations with customer success as its niche market in which the application can be integrated into CRM and ERP systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc.
However, the company does not have many team members on board for testing the software extensively and give timely reviews of performance. Testing is one of the least understood parts of a project management software. Project Management teams must recognize that testing is a continuum and is a part of every team member's role despite everyone on the team not testing on the same level or for the same information to verify or validate.
Since there were not enough on site project management professionals available to perform an array of test activities for the application, there was the need to research those who had experience that could be translatable to provide information about the product and have that information as the first feedback to the developers in addition to how well the product performs per development phase.
Solution:Include black box testing of the software in order to give product review as it's the earliest feedback about the product performance prior to commercial launch and scalability of product successfully meeting the demands of organizations catering to
